Of cardboard boxes and a need for popcorn

That entire last sentence, is what he said. BONER JOKES RULE!
On topic, I thoroughly enjoy watching long cutscenes, as long as they are good (which they will be, if somewhat nonsensical) and I can pause them to go wee-wee. Xenosaga was another game whose cutscenes were EPICLY LONG, up to an hour sometimes, but they were really good and better than most tv shows in terms of drama and dialogue. Plus you could pause or, if you were simply tired of hearing Rubedo whine for the 50th time, skip the damn thing. Let the MGS4 interactive movie experience (and subsequent themed roller coaster) begin!!!

Yeah, I meant to mention Xenosaga. They toned it down after the first one, but the first and last cutscenes in XS1 clocked in at 45 minutes apiece. Luckily, like Xenosaga, MGS4’s will be pausable and, should you be a Philistine with no desire for good drama (or, you know, you’ve seen it before because it’s right before a boss battle), skippable.
Personally I’d love to see more skippable cutscenes, especially ones before difficult boss fights.
Side note: I never minded listening to Rubedo whine because it usually meant Albedo was about to show up and be fucking insane.

You’re very welcome. Can’t slip innuendo past Gregory Aristocrates Walton!
Or me.
