Forwards from Phil: Mar. 20, 2008
March 20th, 2008 by PhilI figure I should mention this: it’s about to be a fairly busy two or three weeks at work as we churn out another release, so you may not see much in the way of posts from me because oftentimes I’m working from the minute I get here until I leave.
Plus, well, sometimes I just don’t feel like writing, and sometimes I don’t have any links. Them’s the breaks.
–Look, an adorable kitten!
- Okay, this is Fox News, so take it with a grain of salt, but apparently an Australian man built a robot, which he then used to kill himself. It fired not one shot, but multiple shots. Multiple. The robot uprising is at hand!
- If you’re into elves from outer space who ride wolves, you’ll probably be happy to know that the last 30 years worth of the ElfQuest comic is now going online for free. All of it. There’s a lot of it.
- The same guy who, in 2005, modded Super Mario Bros. to remove everything except the clouds, has now set up… I guess it’s an art piece? called Permanent Vacation. It’s two computers bouncing vacation notices to one another.
- Did you know? Samus and Link were originally supposed to be in the Wii version of Marvel Ultimate Alliance. That alone would’ve made up for the time Will and I spent twirling our Wiimotes like lassos (not that that wasn’t amusing, though not nearly as amusing as what Kevin had to do to get the Human Torch to throw fireballs).
- Hey: Dreamfall: The Longest Journey is on the Xbox Originals as of March 24th. Buy it if you didn’t already. Trust me.
