Snow!! Crap, that’s right, I don’t like snow. Whew. Good thing I remembered that before I ran out and celebrated it, huh?

kitty gives self tennis elbow, news at 11

- First up, if you didn’t, go back and read Greg’s post first: he’s already talked about the end of the Format Wars, Michael Clarke Duncan in Street Fighter (saving me from having to try and find something nice to say about Chris Klein), and - oh yeah - Hello Kitty assault rifles. I wonder if the HK-47 (you see what I did there) will make its way into Hello Kitty Online.

- The genealogy of Mario and company, as explained by 6-year-old Japanese kids. These kids have some unusual views on who’s related to who; apparently Mario is constantly rescuing his sister from his dad (or uncle), Luigi’s obviously older because he’s taller, and no one knows who Waluigi is but he keeps hanging around at parties.

- Is the Bible alright, but just lacks that… certain something? Does that certain something happen to be mysterious samurai and giant robots? Then boy have I got the manga for you - The Manga Bible: From Genesis to Revelation.

- This is an amazing staircase. This staircase, built into an apartment that’s at the top of a Victorian mansion block, has every stair and every riser filled with books - bookshelves all around, an entire library built into a staircase. It’s honestly kind of dizzying to look at.

- Steps Magazine takes a look at the horrors of human/plant hybridization. This comes on the heels of an announcement that there’s now a strain of genetically altered rice that produces the same proteins as human breastmilk. I can’t decide how I feel about that.

- I’m sorry, I don’t believe we ordered the “suck my dick fuck face.”

- Fez, which is fun as hell to watch. It’s like a combination of Super Paper Mario and Cave Story, but with the English translation skills of Zero Wing.

Smash spoiler, whee!

- Ooh, rock me Amadeus. Falco is back and apparently has changed! He has the best initial jump of anyone, his side move is some kind of phantom dash now, and he kicks his reflector shield - turning it into a combination reflector/projectile. Oh, and while his version of the Landmaster final smash isn’t as powerful as Fox’s, Falco’s has the ability to fly.

  1. Lucas Says:

Staircase full of books, that sounds like a nightmare to me. Also, we’d love for you to come back again and eat at our fine restaurant, fuck face? Are you shitting me. Oh darn, only the wait staff was suppose to see that, WHAT. Also the meal wasn’t free, they took the money and donated it to charity. that means they still paid for it.
